Encore! – One More Game? Always 🎲🎨

The roll & write game by Inka and Markus Brand, published by Schmidt Spiele and known in German as Noch mal!. It is for 1 to 6 players aged 8 and up, and a game takes about 20 minutes.

The active player rolls all six dice – three colour dice and three number dice – and chooses one colour and one number. Then everyone else picks a pair from the remaining four dice, so all players tick boxes every turn. With a combination such as blue and 3, you tick three connected blue boxes on your sheet. Your first boxes must start in the middle column, and every new box must connect to ones you have already ticked. Completing a column scores points – more if you are the first – and ticking all boxes of a colour earns a bonus. Jokers let you choose any colour or a number from 1 to 5, but each one costs you an exclamation mark, and unused ones score at the end. Stars left unticked cost points. The game ends as soon as someone completes two colours.
