Concordia Aegyptus / Creta – The Nile and a Crowded Island 🗺️🏛️

One double-sided board, two new challenges – Concordia Aegyptus / Creta by Mac Gerdts is a map expansion for Concordia for 2 to 5 players. You need the base game to play.

On Aegyptus everyone starts in Memphis with one land and one sea colonist. The Nile counts as a sea route, and its yearly flood makes the river provinces fertile: a food bonus marker starts in Kush, gives one extra food when that province produces, then moves one province down the Nile. Two special spaces add trade. Reach the frankincense space on the Red Sea and you earn 5 sestertii whenever anyone produces in Sinai, Arabia or Litus. Both the frankincense and the gold space below Meroe are worth 7 points at the end. Creta is tight: only 20 city tokens are in play and you start in Knossos. The small island of Gavdos has one city and a bonus good you choose, and the cash bonus pays 2 extra sestertii. A separate card display comes with a variant side of extra costs for any Concordia board.
