The Border – Close Your Borders! 🎲✏️

Nine areas, many border spaces and five dice. The Border is a quick dice game by Michael Kiesling and Reinhard Staupe from Nürnberger Spielkarten Verlag (NSV) for 2 to 4 players aged 8 and up.

The active player rolls all five dice up to three times and may cross off spaces on their erasable board – but only if the dice complete an entire colour segment. The dice the active player does not use stay in play for everyone else, so nobody has to wait. Complete an area and you score points; the first player to finish their sixth area ends the game, and the most points wins.

🎲 Up to Three Rolls

Reroll or set dice aside – then use them wisely.

🟥 Whole Segments Only

The active player may only fill a colour segment completely.

👥 No Waiting

Leftover dice are used by the other players.

🏆 Be First

Finishing an area before the others scores more points.
