Qwixx: The Duel – Attack, Defend, Build Towers 🎲⚔️

Steffen Benndorf's award-winning dice game Qwixx with a completely new twist. Qwixx: The Duel, published by NSV, is a dice game for 2 players aged 8 and up, in about 15 to 20 minutes.

Instead of writing on score sheets, both players share one board, and each player has their own set of tokens. On your turn, you roll the six dice. First, you may place a token using the sum of the two white dice; then you may place another token using one white die plus one coloured die. If you place nothing at all, you must put a token in the Misthrows row. Here comes the twist: the foremost piece in each colour row can be captured by your opponent – and the owner of a foremost piece can build a tower on it, which can no longer be captured. That makes every roll a mix of attacking and defending, throwing out and advancing. The game ends when a player places their last token, when four Misthrow tokens are on the board, or when two rows are locked – and it stays exciting right to the end.
