Qwixx Longo – Longer Rows, New Dice 🎲🍀

The world of Qwixx keeps growing: this version brings eight-sided dice, a longer score sheet and two personal lucky numbers. Qwixx Longo by Steffen Benndorf and Reinhard Staupe, published by NSV, is a dice game for 2 to 5 players aged 8 and up, in about 15 to 20 minutes.

The simple original rules stay intact, and as always, there is no waiting: everyone plays on every roll. The active player rolls six eight-sided dice – two white and one each in red, yellow, green and blue. First, everyone may mark the sum of the two white dice in any row. Then the active player may also combine one white die with one coloured die and mark that sum in the matching row. Numbers must be marked from left to right, so every skip has a cost. The colour rows are now longer, running from 2 to 16 or from 16 to 2. New are the lucky numbers on each sheet: if the white dice show one of your lucky numbers, you may instead mark the next box in the row where you have the fewest crosses. With at least six crosses, you can lock a row with one of its last two numbers. The game ends when two rows are locked or someone has four missed rolls – and the most points win.
