Qwantum – Rise, Fall and Fill Every Row 🎲⚡

A fast roll-and-write where every throw counts for the whole table. Qwantum by Anna Oppolzer, Stefan Kloß and Reinhard Staupe, published by NSV, is a dice game for 2 to 4 players aged 8 and up, playing in about 15 minutes.

You play with one white die and six special coloured dice in red, yellow, blue and purple. On your turn you may throw up to twice. The white die is added to each coloured die, and you choose one colour to enter on your sheet. Then every other player may enter one of the remaining colours – so you stay involved even when it is not your turn. If a colour is missing from the throw, the white value counts for it. Your rows climb up to a thick line and then fall back down, so you have to plan when to rise and when to drop. A completed column scores its second-lowest value. If you enter nothing on your own turn, you take a misthrow, worth −1, −2, −3 and so on. The game ends when someone fills all their rows or takes a fifth misthrow.
