Hungry Hamsters – Fill Your Burrow Before Winter 🐹🌰

Winter is coming, and the hamsters are hungry! In Hungry Hamsters from NSV, designed by Moritz Dressler, everyone plays a hamster busily gathering supplies for the cold days ahead. It is a pocket-sized MINNYS dice game for 1–6 players aged 8+, and a game takes about 10 minutes.

Each round, one die is rolled for everyone. The number tells you how many spaces you must cross off in one of the chambers of your burrow – except when a one is rolled. Then each player decides how many crosses to make, but the supply of crosses you can get this way runs out at some point, so use it wisely. Your goal is to fill chambers completely, because only full chambers score points at the end. As soon as the first player has completed four chambers, the final phase of the game begins. In the end, it is not only the chambers that count, but also bonuses for special treats such as hazelnuts and mushrooms. The rules are quick to explain and the game is over in minutes, so it is a handy pick for breaks, trips and cafés. Everything you need, including a score pad, comes in a compact MINNYS pack that fits in a bag.
