Charidice – Take Points, Give Points 🎲💛

Generosity can pay off. Charidice by Jürgen Adams, published by NSV, is a quick dice game for 2 to 4 players aged 8 and up, in about 20 minutes.

On your turn, you have up to three throws to get the highest possible result for yourself. Then you choose how to score: either all the dice of one colour, or exactly one die of each colour. If you manage certain combinations, such as runs, you get bonus points on top. Here comes the special twist: the points on the dice you didn't score are given to the player on your left. So every decision is a small balancing act – do you keep the points for yourself, or do you give a lot away? At the end of the game, whoever has given away the most points receives a generous karma bonus, which may well decide the winner. Everything you need is in the small box: 6 dice, a scoring pad and the rules. The rules are quickly learnt, the turns move fast, and the mix of luck and clever choices makes it a good game for families and for a quick round between bigger games.
