They are black, puzzling and thoroughly wicked. Black Stories is the cult riddle series from moses., and this is where it started: 50 tricky, morbid riddles about death and the most dreadful accidents. It is for 2 or more players, and a round takes about 15 minutes.

How to play: one player, the riddle master, draws a card and reads out the short story on the front. The answer is on the back, and only the riddle master knows it. Everyone else now has to work their way to the real story by asking questions that can be answered with »yes« or »no«. You need imagination, logic and the courage to ask strange questions. It is most fun with friends, in small or large groups, and needs no board, so the small box fits in any bag. The German edition from moses. (text by Holger Bösch, illustrations by Bernhard Skopnik) has 50 cards and 15 point chips for a riddle-pro variant: three riddles per game, and especially clever questions that lead onto a hot trail earn chips. The Slovenian edition from Učila International is also written by Holger Bosch and promises 50 riddles, 31 crimes, 49 corpses and 11 murderers.
