Agricola – Build the Richest Farm 🚜🌾

Agricola (Revised Edition) is Uwe Rosenberg's farming strategy classic in the 2016 version by Lookout Games. In Central Europe around 1670, you grow a small farm with a wooden hut into a thriving homestead – for 1 to 4 players aged 12+.

You start with two family members, and each one is a worker: in turn, you place them on action spaces to collect wood, clay, reed and grain, plough fields, build fences and stables, renovate your house or welcome a new family member. Every action space can only be used by one person per round, so competition for the right spot is tight. New actions enter the game round by round, and at each harvest you must feed your family – with grain and vegetables, or with the animals you raise in your pastures. At the end, the player with the wealthiest farm wins: points come from fields, pastures, animals, house rooms and family members, while unused farmyard spaces cost you points. Each player also gets seven occupations and seven minor improvements, which bend the rules in your favour and make every game different. The revised edition brings fresh art by Klemens Franz, updated cards sorted into well-balanced decks and many component improvements, and all future expansions are based on it. A play takes about 90 minutes.
