Discover a vast unknown world and learn its cryptic language. LOK is a book of 120 mind-bending word-search puzzles by Blaž Urban Gracar, a multidisciplinary artist from Slovenia, published by Letibus Design.

The goal of each puzzle is to find Lok keywords and use their special effects to black out all the cells in a grid. On top of that, you must figure out most of the rules by yourself, deducing them from a carefully crafted sequence of puzzles: a new word appears, the puzzle is solvable, so what does the word do? The result is a deep and rewarding experience full of surprising twists and insights. The physical book is spiral-bound and comes with a transparent sheet that you place over any page and draw on with a dry-erase marker – solving on paper is the way LOK is meant to be played. Shut Up & Sit Down called it cosy, thinky, robust and just a little bit strange. If you love logic puzzles, languages or grid-based thinking, this is a book you will remember.
