Carcassonne: Traders & Builders – Trade, Build, Score 🐖🧱

Traders and builders arrive in the cities of Carcassonne. Traders & Builders by Klaus-Jürgen Wrede and the Hans im Glück team is the second expansion for Carcassonne in its 2025 edition, for 2 to 6 players aged 7 and up, in about 40 minutes.

Complete a city that shows goods symbols and you take the matching goods tokens – chicken, grain or cloth – no matter who scores the city. At the end, the player with the most goods of each type scores 10 points. Your builder joins a traveller or knight: whenever you continue a road or city where your builder stands, you gain a double turn. Your pig joins a farmer: each time a city with a coat of arms is completed, all pigs are scored, earning 3 points for every completed city touching their field. Bridges and other special tiles add new ways to build. A new river tile with a goods symbol also fits The River mini-expansion.
