Awkward dates, big laughs and difficult compromises – Fog of Love by Jacob Jaskov is a story game for exactly 2 players aged 17 and up who want an evening that feels like a film you write together.

Each of you creates a character with traits, features and an occupation. Then your characters meet, fall in love and try to make a slightly unusual relationship work. Players take turns playing scene cards with choices: meeting the in-laws, parties, gifts, arguments, secrets and reconciliations. You both choose an answer in secret, and your choices change your satisfaction, your personality and the path of the story. Here is the twist: you have to weigh what is good for you against what is good for the relationship, and your partner may be thinking something else entirely. In the end, it is all about fulfilling your character's destiny – a happy ending for both, or a dramatic breakup. Your first game is a tutorial you learn while playing.
