Age of Innovation – Terra Mystica in a New Dimension 🏛️🌍

Diverse factions populate a world of varied landscapes and compete to raise their buildings and cities. Age of Innovation: A Terra Mystica Game by Helge Ostertag, illustrated by Alvaro Calvo Escudero and Lukas Siegmon and published by Feuerland, is a standalone game set in the world of Terra Mystica for 1 to 5 players aged 14 and up.

You take control of one faction and terraform the terrain into that of your homeland, then construct buildings on it. Being close to other factions limits your expansion, but it also brings you significant advantages – a tension that is a big part of the appeal of the Terra Mystica series. Upgrade your buildings to gain resources such as tools, scholars, money and power. Build schools to advance in the sciences and collect books, a new currency you can use for actions or to develop your faction with innovations. Build your palace to gain a powerful new ability, or add workshops, guilds and universities to complete your culture. Variability is at the heart of the game: the 12 factions and 17 palaces are not tied to any terrain, so your starting conditions are put together anew every game. A playing time of about 40 minutes per player makes this a deep strategy game for experienced players, and a solo mode with an Automa is available as well.
