Horrible Therapist – Comics Your Therapist Would Not Approve 🛋️💬

Horrible Therapist from Exploding Kittens is a card game in which you make very unpleasant three-panel comics about therapy. It is for 3 to 8 players aged 17+ and a round takes about 15 minutes.

Every player starts with five Treatment cards, kept secret. One player becomes the Therapist. They flip a card from the Question deck, which forms the first panel of the comic, and then pick an Answer card for the second panel. Now everyone else looks at their Treatment cards and chooses the one that makes the funniest, or the most unhinged, third panel, and plays it face down. Once all the Treatments are in, the Therapist reads them all and picks the one that most fittingly completes the comic. If your Treatment is chosen, you win a point, and the first player to reach three points wins. The humour is dark and the cards are drawn in the style of the Exploding Kittens team, so it suits adult groups who enjoy a laugh at slightly uncomfortable topics. The rules take a minute to explain, which makes it an easy pick for parties and get-togethers. The box contains 70 Question cards, 125 Answer cards and 175 Treatment cards.
