Dodelido – Two of a Kind Are Not the Same 🦩🐢

Think fast, call faster. Dodelido by Jacques Zeimet, the designer of the Cockroach card games, is a fast card game from Drei Magier for 2–6 players aged 8 and up – recommended by the Spiel des Jahres 2017 jury.

On your turn, place the top card from your hand face up on one of the three discard piles in the middle. Then call out, as fast as lightning, what appears most often among the visible cards: an animal – flamingo, penguin, tortoise, camel or zebra – or a colour. If nothing stands out, it is »nothing«; if two features are tied, it is »Dodelido«! Sounds easier than it is, especially as the slow tortoise and the snappy crocodile like to shake things up. Hesitate or call the wrong thing and you pay for it. Whoever makes the fewest mistakes and plays out all their cards first ends and wins the game. The rules are explained in a minute, the small box fits in any bag, and the brain-twisting calls create plenty of laughs at the table.
