Mazescape: Ariadne – Into the Labyrinth of Daedalus 🌀🏛️

A one-of-a-kind solo maze game. Mazescape: Ariadne by Pablo Céspedes and Víctor Hugo Cisternas, published by Devir, takes you to the ancient Crete of legend, where you enter the famous labyrinth of Daedalus, face the final challenge of the Minotaur and help Ariadne to escape.

You unfold a map on the table and start at the compass rose. Move the pointer along the white paths – it must stay in contact with the table at all times – and open and close the leaves of the map to reveal new routes. The part under the pointer can never be folded, so you have to think carefully about every fold. Your goal is to reach the Impossible Triangle, the exit that takes you to the next map. Along the way you go under bridges and climb stairs while turning both the map and your brain inside out. The box contains seven different maps that grow in difficulty, from a relatively easy start to puzzles for the sharpest minds. If you get stuck, every map comes with a solution. The maps also hold secondary objectives and hidden treasures, so it is worth entering the labyrinth again.
