A light bidding game with a prehistoric twist. Roaring 20s by Leo Colovini, illustrated by Annika Heller and published by Deep Print Games, is a card game for 3 to 5 players aged 8 and up, in about 20 to 30 minutes.

Dinosaurs come up for auction, and you want the right ones for your collection. You bid with cards – either snacks or gems, but never both in the same bid. That small rule creates plenty of tough decisions: which currency do you spend now, and which do you save for later? The Joker dinosaur can only be won with gems. If you pass instead of bidding, you can reserve a bid card from the display, which may give you a stronger hand for the next auction. At the end, your dinosaurs score as singles, pairs, triplets and consecutive sequences, so every card you win can change your plans. The box holds 120 cards – 25 dinosaur cards, 85 bid cards, 5 Mine cards and 5 overview cards – and the rules are quick to explain, which makes it a good choice for family evenings and for groups that enjoy a bit of bluffing and timing.
