Flamecraft – Dragons, Shops and Enchantments 🐉🏘️

Artisan dragons are the smaller, magically talented cousins of their large and destructive relatives – and every shopkeeper wants one. In Flamecraft by Manny Vega, with art by Sandara Tang, 1–5 players aged 10+ become Flamekeepers in a game of about 60 minutes.

As a Flamekeeper, you are skilled in the art of conversing with dragons. Your job is to place each dragon in its ideal home and use enchantments to entice it to produce wondrous things. The dragons are specialised – bread, meat, iron, crystal, plant and potion – and you know which shops suit each of them. On your turn, you visit a shop to gain items and a favour from one of the dragons working there. The items you gather can then be used to enchant a shop, which earns you reputation and the favours of all the dragons in that shop. Attract fancy dragons and you get even more chances to build your reputation. The Flamekeeper with the most reputation at the end becomes the Master of Flamecraft. With its warm, colourful art and clear turns, Flamecraft is a friendly choice for families and groups who enjoy a cosy theme, and it can also be played solo.
