Kittin – Stack the Cats, Shout MEOW 🐱🗼

Cats love to climb on top of each other – and in Kittin by Alley Cat Games, you help them do it as fast as you can. It is a quick dexterity and speed game for 2–8 players aged 6+, and a round takes about 3–15 minutes.

Each player has their own set of colourful cat pieces. Someone flips an instruction card, and everyone races at the same time to build the stack of cats shown on it, with the right colours in the right places. As soon as your tower matches the card, shout "MEOW!" – if your stack is correct, you win the card. Some cards are easy, others ask for wobbly towers that test steady hands and sharp eyes. Keep going until one player has collected enough cards to win. There are also rules for playing in teams, so bigger groups can join in together. Everything packs into a small mint tin, so Kittin fits in a bag for holidays, cafés or a quick round before dinner. The rules take a minute to explain, which makes it a lovely pick for children and grown-ups playing together, and it works just as well as a short warm-up on a family game night. Expect giggles, collapsing towers and plenty of meowing around the table.
