Piatnik Tarockkarten Ornament – A Classic Deck for Four at the Tarock Table 🃏

Four players, one deck and a card game with centuries of history. The Tarockkarten Ornament from Piatnik is a 54-card tarock deck in a tuck box, with cards measuring 63 × 113 mm, made in Austria.

The deck has 22 tarock cards and 32 suit cards, eight each in hearts, diamonds, spades and clubs. The tarock cards are always trumps and carry Roman numerals; the highest of them, the Sküs, is the only one without a number. These 54 cards are what Piatnik's rules use for Königrufen, the four-player variant in which you find your partner by calling a king. According to Piatnik, tarock itself began in northern Italy around 1425. The box and Piatnik's rules are in German. Please note that this is a deck of playing cards – the full rules are not part of the product description.
