Mascarade – Who's Behind the Mask? 🎭👑

King, Witch, Thief… reveal the truth behind the masks! Mascarade by Bruno Faidutti, in its second edition from Repos Production, is a quick bluffing game for 4–12 players aged 10+, lasting about 30 minutes.

Every player wears a mask with its own power. Don your mask at the right moment and use its power to amass a fortune or surprise your opponents. The catch: masks are swapped so often during the game that you will even start to doubt your own identity. A game plays over a series of turns, and on your turn you choose one of three actions. You can secretly look at your mask to check who you are. You can exchange your mask with another player – or only pretend to exchange it, keeping everyone guessing. Or you can announce a mask and use its power, whether it is really yours or not. But be careful: if your bluff is revealed, you have to pay a fine to the court. The first player to collect 13 coins wins the game. This second edition comes with a new set of masks, illustrated by Things by Diana, scenario sheets for setting up different combinations of masks, and player aids that help everyone keep track of the powers. With up to 12 players at the table, it is a lively choice for big groups.
