Bookworm – The Dice Game – Think Fast, Grab the Dice 📚🎲

The bookworm is looking for a successor – and he is testing the players with a plethora of categories. Bookworm – The Dice Game from Pegasus Spiele is a quick word game for 2 to 6 players aged 8 and up, in about 15 to 30 minutes.

In each category, you must find fitting words that match a letter on a die – either a die in the display or one lying in front of another player. On your turn, you name a word for the current category that starts with one of the letters shown, and then you take that die from the display or steal it from an opponent. Stealing has a catch, though: the player you steal from receives a Bookworm card as a small consolation. The round ends when the last white die has been taken or when someone can't think of a word. Then everyone scores the dots on their dice plus their Bookworm cards, while a failed turn costs you points. A special die mixes things up by bringing bonus points, minus points or a new theme into play. Whoever earns 21 points first wins. Bookworm – The Dice Game brings new twists to the Bookworm gameplay while keeping its core, and the category cards of Bookworm – The Card Game and Bookworm – The Dice Game can be used with each other.
