Bookworm – The Card Game – Think Fast, Speak Faster 📚🔠

The all-knowing Bookworm is back in a bigger box with more content. Bookworm – The Card Game from Pegasus Spiele is a fast word game for 2 to 8 players aged 8 and up, in about 10 to 30 minutes.

The idea is simple: come up with a word that starts with a certain letter and fits a certain category – as quickly as possible. A handful of starting letters and lots of different categories, such as »flying«, »salty« or »furniture«, are all you need to get the words flowing. Your hand cards show letters, and whoever gets rid of all their hand cards first wins the game. Creativity and quick thinking are key, because the next category can make even easy letters tricky. The game comes with three modes: an orderly mode where players take turns and the category changes whenever someone draws a blank, a quiz mode where everyone plays at the same time and only the fastest player scores, and a further variant for even more pace. The new edition contains 120 cards for more variety, so the categories and letters keep changing from game to game. It is a lively choice for family evenings, word lovers and anyone who likes a quick brain workout.
