Port Royal: Just One More Contract… – More Ways to Play ⚓📜

Expand your trading in the Caribbean with Port Royal: Just One More Contract … (Ein Auftrag geht noch …) from Pegasus Spiele! Alexander Pfister's clever expansion for 1–5 players aged 8+ adds contracts, new persons and new ships. It requires the Port Royal base game, and the rules are in German and English.

The 14 new person cards bring Clerks, Gunners and Vice Admirals with fresh abilities, and 10 new ships, two per colour, join the harbour. You can shuffle the new persons and ships into the base game on their own, but if you use the contracts, you must use them too. The 18 large contracts can be used in two ways. In the competitive variant, contracts are an extra source of coins and influence points: each player gets three wooden cubes, and the earlier you complete a contract, the more coins you collect. Your second contract earns an influence point, and a third earns two more. In the cooperative variant, everyone works together to complete a set number of contracts, depending on player count, before a time pile made from ordinary cards runs out. The top card of the time pile is drawn at the start of every player's turn, so the race against the clock never lets up. This variant also works solo, so you no longer have to skip a game of Port Royal when you are on your own.
