Istanbul: Letters & Seals – Secret Letters on the Bazaar 📜🔏

The bazaar of Istanbul gets new places to visit and a secret society to join. Istanbul: Letters & Seals by Rüdiger Dorn, from Pegasus Spiele, is the second expansion for Istanbul, for 2 to 5 players aged 10 and up, in about 40 to 60 minutes. The Istanbul base game is required.

Letters & Seals adds five new location tiles to the bazaar, along with letter tiles, kiosk tiles and new companions. At the Embassy you pick up letters, and each letter you deliver earns you a seal. Collect enough seals and the Secret Society opens its doors, offering you a way to gain rubies. The new Auction House and Kiosk bring interaction to the bazaar: when one player triggers them, all players can take part, so everyone stays involved even on other players' turns. The Catacombs offer another route through the city for clever merchants. A courier joins the game as well, helping you move your letters across the market. All of this blends with the familiar Istanbul flow of moving your merchant and assistants from place to place, so the game keeps its quick, puzzly character while giving you more choices on every turn. Both English and German rulebooks are included in the box.
