DroPolter – Ghosts vs. Palm Muscles 👻✋

Eerie noises wake you up in the middle of the night, and ghostly figures appear from beneath your bed. Quick – grab the lucky charms you have been collecting for just this situation. DroPolter from Oink Games, designed by Paul Schulz, is a dexterity party game for 2–5 players aged 6+ that takes about 15 minutes.

Each player holds 5 different items in one hand. A theme card is revealed, and everyone races to drop only the items shown on it – using that one hand alone. Sounds easy? It is surprisingly tricky. If you accidentally drop a wrong item, your attempt fails, so you need to sort through the charms with your fingers and palm muscles. The items feel slightly similar but are made of different materials and shapes, which keeps everyone guessing. Whoever drops the correct items fastest wins the round – and receives a tiny bell, which is added to the items in their hand and makes the next rounds even harder to control. Collect 5 bells and you win. With simple rules that anyone can pick up right away, a cute ghost piece and five brightly coloured items, DroPolter makes children and adults scream with excitement. It was named a 2025 Good Toy.
