The Game: Quick & Easy – Play Together, Win Together 🃏🤝

Play a card, draw a card – that couldn't be easier, right? The Game: Quick & Easy by Steffen Benndorf, published by NSV, is a cooperative card game for 2 to 5 players aged 8 and up, in about 10 minutes.

Just like in the original The Game, you all play as one team. Your goal is to lay as many cards as possible – ideally all 50 – on two piles next to the sequence cards. The cards show the numbers 1 to 10 in five colours. On one pile the numbers must always go up, on the other they must always go down; you may skip numbers, but every jump makes the next card harder. Everyone holds only two cards. On your turn, lay one or two cards and draw back up to two – that's it. Colours don't matter at first, but there is a reverse trick: if you lay a card of the same colour as the top card, any number is allowed, and the pile can jump back to give the team breathing room. You may talk about your cards and plans, but you must never name exact numbers. If the player whose turn it is cannot lay a card, the team loses; lay all 50 and you have beaten the game. For a bigger challenge, try the professional version.
