Schafkopf & Tarock Cards – The Bavarian Classic in Your Hand 🃏🥨

Acorns, leaves, hearts and bells – this NSV deck brings the traditional Bavarian pattern to your table, ready for Schafkopf, Tarock and other classic German card games.

German-suited cards look different from the French deck most people know. Instead of clubs, spades, hearts and diamonds, the four suits are acorns, leaves, hearts and bells, and the court cards are the King, the Ober and the Unter. The Bavarian pattern is the one you will find on tables across Bavaria, from village inns to family kitchens. This pack contains 36 cards. Schafkopf, Bavaria's best-known card game, is played by four players with 32 of them, so you simply set the Sixes aside. The Sixes are there for games that use the full pack. In Schafkopf the Obers and Unters are always trumps, players team up or go solo, and every trick counts towards the magic 61 points. Whether you grew up with these games or want to learn them, a proper deck is where it starts.
