5 Minute Puzzle – Fit Every Piece 🧩🎲

A puzzle you draw yourself, one die roll at a time. 5 Minute Puzzle by Steffen Benndorf, published by NSV in the pocket-sized MINNYS series, is a quick roll-and-write game for 1 to 6 players aged 8 and up, in about 5 minutes.

Everyone uses the same side of their sheet – the light side A is recommended for your first game, the dark side B is there when you want something new. Each round, the die is rolled once and all players use the result: choose a puzzle piece that matches the number and draw it into your puzzle area. If all pieces for that number are already used, you may draw any other piece that is still available. Your first piece can go anywhere, but every piece after that must touch a space that is already filled. You may turn or mirror the pieces freely, but each one must fit completely, and each piece can be used only once – so cross it off after drawing. The game ends when all 12 pieces are crossed off or someone cannot draw a piece. Then you count penalty points for the empty spaces and for every separate empty area. The player with the fewest penalty points wins. For an extra challenge, try the expert variant.
