In Mysterium, one player is the ghost, who can only communicate through dreamlike vision cards, while the others are psychics trying to work out the culprit, the location and the weapon of a long-forgotten crime. Hidden Signs gives the ghost 42 additional vision cards to communicate with – more images, more ideas and more ways for clues to be understood or misunderstood. It also adds 8 new characters, 8 new locations and 8 new objects, each with a card for the psychics and a matching card for the ghost, so you can explore new combinations of suspects, places and objects at every séance. No new rules are needed: just mix the new cards into your base game and play as usual. This makes Hidden Signs an easy way to refresh Mysterium for groups who have played it many times – and to surprise even experienced psychics with images they have never seen before.
