Ticket to Ride Germany – All Aboard for Passengers 🚂🧳

Ticket to Ride: Germany by Alan R. Moon, published by Days of Wonder, is a standalone Ticket to Ride game set in turn-of-the-century Germany. It is for 2 to 5 players aged 8+ and plays in about 30 to 60 minutes.

The familiar rules are all here. Each player has 45 trains, and on your turn you draw two train cards, claim a route by playing cards that match its colour and length, or draw new Destination Tickets. The twist is the passengers. At the start, 60 passenger meeples are drawn at random from the cloth bag and placed in cities around the map. Whenever you claim a route, you collect a passenger from both of the spots it connects. At the end, you score 20 points for each colour in which you have the most passengers and 10 points for each colour in which you have the second most. Destination Tickets come in two decks, short and long, and at the start you draw four in any mix you announce, keeping at least two. Completed tickets add their value to your score, and unfinished ones subtract it. The player who completes the most tickets earns the 15-point Globetrotter bonus. The passengers turn every route into a small race: grab a busy city before your rivals do, without losing sight of your tickets.
