Small World – A World Too Small for Everyone 🧙‍♂️🗺️

Fight for space in Small World from Days of Wonder, the fun, zany, light-hearted civilization board game! Players vie for conquest and control of a world that is simply too small to accommodate them all. It is for 2–5 players aged 8+ and takes 40–80 minutes.

Designed by Philippe Keyaerts as a fantasy follow-up to his game Vinci, Small World is inhabited by a zany cast of characters such as dwarves, wizards, amazons, giants, orcs and even humans. Each race comes with a random special power, and picking the right combination from the 14 fantasy races and 20 special powers is the heart of the game. You use your troops to occupy territory and conquer adjacent lands, pushing other races off the map, and you earn victory coins for the regions you hold. Sooner or later every empire becomes over-extended. Then it is time to push your civilization into decline, leave its remaining tokens on the board and ride a new race to victory. The box contains two double-sided game boards, one for each player configuration, so the map always feels crowded. You also get 14 fantasy races with matching banners and tokens, 20 special power badges, troll lairs, mountains, fortresses, encampments, holes-in-the-ground, a game turn marker, 2 heroes, 1 dragon, 109 victory coins, 6 player summary sheets, a reinforcement die and a rules booklet.
