Memoir '44 Refresh – Rewrite the Pages of History 🎖️🗺️

More than 20 years after it first launched, Memoir '44 is relaunched for today. Memoir '44 by Richard Borg is a historical board game from Days of Wonder for players aged 8 and up.

From the opening minutes of D-Day to the liberation of Paris and beyond, Memoir '44 takes you into the key battles that turned the tide in Western Europe – Omaha Beach, Pegasus Bridge, Operation Cobra and the Ardennes, to name a few. The game includes over 20 battle scenarios and a double-sided hex board for both beach landings and countryside combat. Each scenario mimics the historical terrain, troop placements and objectives of each army. On your turn, you play a command card, order the units it allows, move them and attack, then draw a new card. Section cards order units on the left flank, the center or the right flank, while tactic cards allow special moves and actions. Infantry, armor and artillery each move and fight in their own way, and terrain and obstacles give protection. Each enemy unit you eliminate wins you a victory medal – the first side to reach the number set by the scenario wins. By design, Memoir '44 is not overly complex. New in this edition: redesigned miniatures, a plastic tray and army boxes for your units, plus more scenarios, tokens and cards.
