SETI – Are We Alone in the Universe? 🔭👽

Humanity has long wondered whether there is life beyond Earth. In SETI: Search for Extraterrestrial Intelligence, designed by Tomáš Holek and published by Czech Games Edition, 1–4 players aged 14+ lead scientific institutions racing to find the first signs.

Every turn you decide how to push your research forward. Launch probes to visit planets and moons, aim telescopes at distant star systems and analyse the data you collect, or develop new equipment and technologies to make your institution stronger. The solar system board has rotating discs, so the planets move as the game goes on and your plans have to adapt. More than 200 cards, inspired by real space technologies and missions, give each game a different path. As your discoveries pile up, traces of alien species start to appear – and each species changes how the rest of the game plays. SETI is a competitive eurogame: every player follows their own strategy, and the best-run research programme scores the most points. It also includes a solo mode with its own objective tiles and action cards. Plan for around 40 minutes per player.
