Catan Starfarers – The Jump to the Stars 🚀🌌

The classic returns. It is the middle of the third millennium, and you and your fellow Catanians travel in spaceships to distant planetary systems in search of more resources. Catan Starfarers is a stand-alone game in the Catan family – no base game needed – for 3 to 4 players aged 14 and up, in about 120 minutes.

As in Catan, your planets produce resources, but here you use them to build transport ships and spaceports and to upgrade your mothership. Equip yourself against the lurking danger of space pirates, because many exciting encounters await you out there. Your mothership is a special part of the game: you shake it to see which coloured balls appear, and they decide how far your ships can travel and whether an encounter happens. As you explore the universe, you may find planets with good ore or carbon deposits – or discover barren ice planets. Along the way you befriend alien civilizations who can become valuable trading partners, while pirates and wormholes remain a constant challenge. This completely revised reissue of the classic brings atmospheric illustrations, refined rules and redesigned components, and the variable game board adds even more variety to every game.
