Moon River – Build Your Ranch in the Wild West 🐄🌵

Expand the land you just inherited along the famous Moon River. Moon River by Bruno Cathala and Yohan Servais, illustrated by Régis Torres, is a tile-laying game for 2 to 4 players aged 8 and up, in about 45 minutes.

Corn fields, meadows, forests, deserts, canyons and farms – explore the area, find the most valuable plots and help your herds thrive. The twist: instead of taking ready-made dominoes, you collect single puzzle-shaped plots and combine two of them yourself to create each domino. You then add it to your ranch, a grid of 5 × 5 plots above your Reservation board, where every new domino must connect to a bridge on your board or match a territory you have already placed. Some plots bring cows to your territories, others bring outlaws, thieves or droughts that take them away again, and in the Saloon you can recruit partners – cowboys who move your cows, or specialists who bring extra points. Gold nuggets, beavers and corn cobs score at the end, too. The rules offer a base game and the advanced »Legends of the West« variant, plus special rules for 2 players.
