Loriot Rommé – Playing Is a Cheerful Thing 🎩🃏

Whether it's »Pappa ante Portas« or »Ödipussi« – for the 85th birthday of Loriot, the much-loved German humorist, ASS Altenburger brought together his finest drawn motifs in one rummy set. Loriot Rommé contains 2 × 55 playing cards in a box with a lid.

With the two full decks you can play Rummy, Canasta, Skat, Mau Mau and many more classic card games. The cards feature Loriot's drawings, so even a quick hand at the kitchen table brings a smile to everyone's face. As Loriot said in his legendary card-player sketch: »Playing is a cheerful thing.« The cards come from ASS Altenburger, the traditional playing-card maker from Altenburg in Germany, and the lidded box keeps both decks together at home or when you take them to friends. That makes this set a nice gift for Loriot fans, for families who play cards together regularly and for anyone who likes their game nights with a touch of humour. The recommended age is 10+. The number of players and the playing time depend on the game you choose, so the set suits a quiet game for two just as well as a large family round.
