The Mind Extreme – For Professional Telepaths 🧠🔥

The Mind Extreme by Wolfgang Warsch, published by NSV, is the tougher version of the cooperative card game The Mind. It is for 2 to 4 players aged 8+ and takes about 20 minutes.

As in the original, you play as one team. In level 1 everyone gets one card, in level 2 two cards, and so on. There is no turn order and no talking: whoever thinks it is their moment simply plays a card. The twist is that there are now two stacks in the middle of the table at the same time. White cards from 1 to 50 go on an ascending stack, and red cards from 50 down to 1 go on a descending stack, and both have to be played on together rather than one after the other. Before each level, everyone places a hand on the table to synchronise, and you can call stop at any time to resynchronise. In some levels the cards even have to be played face down, which makes your shared sense of timing even more important. A mistake costs a life, and throwing stars let everyone discard a card to help the team. The number of levels and lives depends on the number of players.

⚪ White Ascending

1 to 50 upwards.

🔴 Red Descending

50 to 1 downwards.

🙈 Face-Down Levels

Play without seeing the stack.

🤫 No Talking

Only timing and intuition.
