Evergreen – Make Your Planet the Greenest of All 🌳🌍

A tree-growing abstract strategy game where you make your planet the greenest and most fertile of all. Evergreen by Hjalmar Hach, designer of the award-winning Photosynthesis, published by Horrible Guild, is a board game for 1 to 4 players aged 8 and up, in about 45 minutes.

Your goal is to build a lush ecosystem by planting seeds, growing trees and placing other natural elements on your planet. Grow your trees, plant bushes and place lakes to create a huge forest, and use the power of nature to gain extra actions. Each round, you pick cards from the drafting pool – either for the biome they let you develop or for the power they activate. But the cards you do not choose matter just as much, because the least chosen biomes become more fertile and therefore more valuable. Concentrate your trees in the most fertile areas and keep them close together to score for your biggest forest. At the same time, they should collect as much light as possible without shading each other, so keep an eye on the position of the sun. Horrible Guild developed the components to be as sustainable as possible, and Evergreen supports Trees for the Future.
