Marabunta – I Divide, You Choose 🐜🎲

Send your ants to conquer fertile regions and seize strategic hexes! Marabunta by Reiner Knizia, illustrated by Ingrid Desmidt, is a roll-and-write game from Space Cowboys for 2 players aged 10 and up, in about 30 minutes.

Your new colony spreads over a vast territory. It is time to expand your reach, multiply your ants and gather the rich resources you find. However, another colony has also settled in the region, so you must share this beautiful place – remain courteous yet cautious, and never lower your guard. On your turn, you draw a tile, roll the six custom dice – one for each region colour – and split them into two pools. Your opponent chooses one of the two pools and applies the results by marking the board. Then you resolve the other pool. So every split is a small puzzle: give your opponent too much and they race ahead, give too little and you may end up with the weaker half yourself. A roll-and-write game full of tension, with an erasable board, territory management, a learning curve to master, lots of interaction between the players and a touch of bluff.
