Ligretto Fun Run – Quick Hands, Quick Legs 🏃🃏

Ligretto, but on the move. Ligretto Fun Run, published by Schmidt Spiele, is a fast card game for 2 to 4 players aged 7 and up, in about 10 minutes.

As always in Ligretto, you try to get rid of your Ligretto pile as fast as possible – and everyone plays at the same time. The twist: your cards are split into four piles of ten, and three of them lie face down on the other sides of the table. You may only play cards from a pile while you stand at its side of the table, so you have to run around to reach them. In the middle, there is one discard pile per colour. Any player can open a pile with a 1, and then everyone may add cards of the same colour that are exactly one higher or one lower – 1 and 5 count as neighbours. Each card you play scores 1 point, while cards left in your Ligretto pile cost you 2 points. As soon as someone empties their Ligretto pile, they call »Ligretto Stop!« and the round ends. No room to run? The »Up&Down« variant lets you play seated – you only stand up to play from your Ligretto pile.
