Story Box: Dreams & Nightmares – Sweet Dreams or Bad Ones? 🔮😱

Storytelling meets memory. Story Box: Dreams & Nightmares by Alexandre Droit and Julien Prothière, published by Pegasus Spiele, is a quick game for 2 to 8 players aged 10 and up, played in about 10 to 20 minutes.

The game has two phases. First, you take turns playing picture cards onto a common story deck and adding a piece of narration, so the group's tale grows card by card – a dreamy fantasy, a creepy nightmare or something completely surreal. There are no limits to how you interpret the pictures. Then the story deck is turned over, and together you retell the story from memory, card by card, with the cards helping you recall every detail. For an extra challenge, try telling a dream and a nightmare at the same time on two separate stacks – and then remember both. Story Box: Dreams & Nightmares can be played on its own, and the other Story Box games, Adventures and Polar, are also playable independently.
