Concordia – Guide Your Dynasty Through the Roman Empire 🏛️⚓

A peaceful strategy game of economic development in Roman times. Concordia by Mac Gerdts, published by PD-Verlag, puts you at the head of a Roman dynasty two thousand years ago – for 2 to 5 players aged 13 and up.

With peace at the borders, uniform law and a common currency, the economy around the Mediterranean thrived. Send your colonists by land and sea to the remote provinces of the Empire, build houses in its cities, develop your trade network and appease the ancient gods to win their favour. Instead of luck with dice or cards, Concordia relies entirely on your strategic abilities. Everyone starts with the same set of personality cards – such as the Architect, Prefect, Mercator, Senator, Consul, Tribune, Colonist and Diplomat – and on your turn you play one of them and carry out its action. Over time you buy new personality cards, and at the end they decide how many points your houses, provinces, colonists and goods are worth. Watch your rivals closely to see which goals they are pursuing and where you can outpace them. The double-sided board offers the Imperium map for 3 to 5 players and the Italia map for 2 to 4 players.
