Bunte Blätter – Race to the Autumn Pattern 🍂🍁

Autumn colours and quick thinking. Bunte Blätter (English title: Lovely Leaves) by Jens Merkl and Jean-Claude Pellin, published by NSV in the pocket-sized MINNYS series, is a speed puzzle card game for 2 to 4 players aged 8 and up, in about 10 minutes.

The game has 36 cards: 20 puzzle cards in four sets of five and 16 pattern cards. Each player takes one set of five double-sided puzzle cards. A pattern card is revealed, and everyone plays at the same time. Your goal is to recreate the 4×4 leaf pattern shown: four of your cards form the base, and the fifth goes on top. You can turn and flip the cards as you like until the pattern matches exactly. As soon as you think you have it, put your hand on the pattern card and call "Stop!". If your pattern is correct, you win the card; if it is wrong, you sit out the rest of the round. The first player to collect three pattern cards wins the game. Fast rounds, simple rules and a real brain-teaser – ideal as a quick start to a game evening or for a short break.
