Noris Deluxe Travel Backgammon – A Classic to Go 🎲🧳

This travel-sized backgammon set from Noris brings classic board play into a compact 16 × 16 cm wooden box that opens into the playing surface and closes for easy carrying between rounds. It is a game for 2 players.

Inside the box, the familiar backgammon layout supports the traditional flow of racing, blocking and hitting that makes each turn matter. Each player moves 15 pieces around the board according to the roll of the dice, tries to block and capture the opponent's pieces and races to bear all of their own pieces off first. The doubling cube lets you raise the stakes when you feel ahead. The magnetic pieces help keep the layout steady during play, which is especially useful on small tables, on a train or whenever the board has to be moved before the match is finished. Metal hinges and a clasp hold the case together, and the compact size fits easily into luggage, a day bag or a shelf between game nights. The wooden box also gives the set a classic look at home or away. Backgammon works for a quick round in a café, a quiet match while travelling or an evening game with family and friends, and it makes a thoughtful gift for anyone who enjoys a mix of strategy and luck.
