Carcassonne: Circus & Artists – The Show Comes to Town 🎪🤸

A travelling circus visits the countryside! In Circus & Artists, Expansion 10 for Carcassonne in the 2025 edition from Hans im Glück, your meeple join the greatest spectacles and stack up as artists into an impressive pyramid. It was designed by Klaus-Jürgen Wrede and the Hans im Glück team and illustrated by Marcel Gröber.

When you place a tile with a circus site, a random performance token goes face down onto it, and the Big Top moves on top. When the next circus site is placed, the Big Top travels there, and the uncovered token is revealed: every meeple on that tile and the tiles directly or diagonally around it scores its points – from the flea (1) up to the dragon dancer (7). On acrobat sites, you can place standard meeple as acrobats, even from neighbouring tiles; three acrobats, even of different colours, form a pyramid, which later scores 5 points per meeple. Your ringmistress can go on a road, city, monastery or field and earns 2 extra points for every circus and acrobat site on and around her tile when her feature is scored. Each player also gets 2 extra standard meeple. The expansion includes a river tile with a circus site for The River. Please note: it can only be played together with Carcassonne and combines with other Carcassonne expansions.
