Code – Crack Your Number Code First 🔢🃏

Who will crack their code first? Code from Game Factory, designed by Patrick Atieh, is a quick card game with short rules for 2–8 players aged 8+ that takes about 15 minutes – and can get surprisingly emotional.

At the start, everyone secretly receives a code card showing a number combination, plus 7 playing cards. Your goal is to collect exactly the number cards on your code and get rid of every other card in your hand. On your turn, you discard a card that matches the top card of the discard pile in number or colour – or exactly two cards that add up to its value, regardless of colour. If you cannot or do not want to discard, you draw a card instead. You can also play an action card such as Swap, Skip, Reverse, +2 or Gift, and jokers help you complete your code. A single Reset card can wipe out a lead in one move – leave it out if your group prefers a gentler game. The game ends the moment a player fulfils their number code with their last four cards and reveals them together with their code card. Because nobody knows what the others are collecting, every discard is a small gamble, and even a comfortable lead can vanish with one well-timed action card. The box contains 10 code cards and 110 playing cards: 80 number cards and 30 action cards.
