Tarantula Tango – Animal Chaos on Eight Legs 🕷️🐮

Dogs, cows, donkeys, goats, cats and parrots dance around a five-sided tarantula – and you have to keep up. Tarantula Tango by Jacques Zeimet (Drei Magier Spiele) is a fast reaction card game for 2–5 players aged 7+, in about 15–20 minutes.

Players take turns placing cards clockwise on the sides of the Tango Tarantula. Each card shows an animal, and some also show a tarantula. Here is the trick: if the card before yours shows a tarantula, you have to make the sound of the animal on that card – twice if there are two tarantulas. A card with two animals makes play skip ahead two spaces. And when a tarantula card comes up, everyone slaps it as fast as they can – the slowest player takes all the cards. You only have two seconds for your turn, so there is no time to think. Once you know the basics, the advanced rules give the donkey, the dog, the cow and the parrot their own special effects and make the chaos complete. The first player with no cards left wins. A quick, loud game for families and friends that leaves everyone laughing.
