Schummel Hummel – Cheat, but Don't Get Caught! 🐝🃏

In most games cheating is forbidden – in Schummel Hummel it is part of the rules. Emely and Lukas Brand's card game from Drei Magier Spiele is for 3–5 players aged 7+ and takes about 25 minutes.

The goal is to get rid of your cards as fast as possible. On your turn you play a card that matches the colour of the flower on top of the pile, and many cards have actions that liven things up. But the quickest way to empty your hand is to cheat: let a card disappear under the table, into your sleeve or under the pile. There are some rules for cheating, though – only one card at a time, your hand must stay above the table, and you may never cheat away your last card. And one player is always the Watchman Worm, who keeps an eye on everyone. If the Watchman Worm catches you cheating, you take the card back and become the new Watchman Worm. When a player has played their last card, the round ends and everyone scores minus points for the cards still in hand: flower cards are worth less than action cards, and the cheating bumblebees count the most. After as many rounds as there are players, the fewest minus points wins.
